Since its inception in 1999, the Moscow International Glass Exhibition Mir Stekla has been held annually. It is an international trade fair dedicated to glass production, processed glass products, technologies, and equipment. Co-organized by Expocentre AO and the Russian Union of Architects, with support from the Italian glass association GIMAV and the German VDMA, the exhibition is certified by both the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The exhibition covers the entire spectrum of glass manufacturing, including modern equipment for production, processing, and decoration; technology and technical methods; tools; auxiliary equipment; control and measurement instruments; and software. It is divided into five thematic zones: Glass production lines, Glass processing equipment and technology, Finished glass products, Tools and auxiliary components, Artistic glass. The event attracts renowned glass industry manufacturers from around the world.
In 2024, the 25th edition of Mir Stekla spanned 11,000 square meters of exhibition space, drawing 790 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions and 54,000 visitors from 29 countries, with over 94% being trade professionals, underscoring its significant influence in the global glass industry.
With a long history of Sino-Russian trade and increasingly standardized bilateral trade practices, Chinese building materials—including glass and windows—are gradually establishing a reputation for high quality in the Russian market, indicating excellent export prospects. As a leading domestic glass engineering design company, our firm attached great importance to this exhibition and sent a delegation composed of General Manager Guo Baoming, Assistant General Manager Huang Jun, and Russian interpreter Qu Feidong. During the event, the team proactively, enthusiastically, and professionally engaged with clients from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. Notably, we strengthened relationships with existing Russian clients and secured intentions for several contracts, including three letters of intent with a total value of RMB 200 million.
The 2024 Mir Stekla achieved remarkable results, playing a positive role in promoting the global expansion of Chinese building materials companies and significantly advancing our company’s “Going Global” strategic development.
